This is the End!

Vol. 1  Chap. 667

  This is the End!

I Had Envisioned a Longer Run for Saturday Poems. The 600+ Poems in Vol. 1 Started with the Day Audrey Mae was Promoted from Only~Child to Big Sister.

From There, the Focus was Primarily on My Daughters Lisa and Pam's Children, with the Emphasis on the Gingers Farthest from Me in SoCal, But Always In My Heart.

Vol. 2 Was Going to Focus on Lisa and Pam’s

Grandchildren. As Many of You Know, My Plan is to Live Forever. So Far, It’s Working.

Google Told Us Every Week That We Had Growing Numbers of Readers on 6 of the 7 Continents. For Some Reason, We Just Couldn’t Crack the Antarctica Market. Still, I Was Pleased.

But Alas It was Not to Be. I Discovered Earlier This Week That I was Creating Safety Concerns That Were New, Real and Unfixable.

Therefore, In the Immortal Words of Jim Morrison,

“This is the End

“Beautiful Friend

“This is the End.”

Thank You to All Who Have Read and Hopefully Enjoyed These Heartfelt Verses.

Thank You to All Who Have Been Portrayed. You’re a Brilliant and Brave Lot.

Any Errors or Omissions are Mine and Mine Alone.

This Has Truly Been a Labor of Love!

And to All the Grandchildren Who were the Focus of These Humble Verses, I Ask One Small Thing ... Please Pack with You My Traditional Sign~off as You Soldier On Through the Coming Decades …

No Sweat Mamma!

Vol. 1 Chap. 666

No Sweat Mamma!

There’s No Way to Avoid the Pain

When You’re with Mom! Here I’ll Explain!

Mom Runs Marathons Just for Fun!

To Spend Time with Mom … Girl, You Run!

Me, I Sit, I Read, Sometimes I Write!

Mom Seems to Think Somehow I Might

Erase My Inactivity

In One Turkey~Trot! Well, Let’s See!

It’s True, It Seems, Since We Rolled Here,

I Can’t Help My Grinning Ear to Ear!

No Longer Chained to My Dorm Desk!

I Feel Stronger and Statuesque!

The Starters Gun Signals We Run!

‘Fore I’m Left in Oblivion,

Mom Makes Sure She Matches My Pace!

We Settle In … Enjoy This Race!

This isn’t My First Rodeo!

But It’s Been a While Don’t Cha Know?

I’m Proud of How Mom’s Looking, Yet,

Unlike Me, I Don’t Think She Sweat!
