Welcome (About Us)
Welcome Dear Readers!
On March 12, 2009, Audrey Mae DeMers, age 5 and 3/4 experienced a life altering event! That's the day she first met her Little Sister, Isabelle (Iz at first, later Bella) in the Early Hours of Isabelle's Life!
The Poem that commemorated that thrilling event, 'Hey Little Sister!' became a regular part of Audrey Mae's nighttime readings to Isabelle that year. You'll find it at Vol. 1 Chap 1 of these posts.
Then, as her Little Sister's First Birthday approached, Audrey called me and asked if maybe, I could write a Poem about Isabelle's First Birthday. Like Grampas everywhere, this one said, "Of Course, Sweetheart!" ... never suspecting that the request for a Saturday Poem would be renewed and renewed and renewed.
Since Isabelle's First Birthday, more than four hundred and eighty Saturdays ago, consecutive Saturday Poems have issued covering just about every topic two young redheaded Sisters could conjure up. With the help of their redheaded Mother, a Nurse Practitioner and, in the early years, with the help of Bonez the Wonder Dog, we have chronicled the lives of three very special Gingers
And if the Muse visits, yet another shiny, new Poem will go out about the Gingers this Saturday and for many Saturdays more to come. Should those Gingers approve them, You'll see these Poems presented here.
Enjoy Dear Reader! We All hope You're in for a Fun Time in Rhyme!
