        Think ‘Bout All They Do!  I Suppose,

        They Leave Home and Their Family,

        Go In Harm’s Way for You and Me!

        Were Vets Born Braver Than Us All?

        How Else Could They Answer the Call

        To Perform Once More, Selfless Acts?

        Should We Show Vets We’ve Got Their Backs?

        Patriotism, Does It Run

        Through Their Veins More Than Anyone?

        Do Vets Love Our Land and Our Flag?

        Fine Jew’lry?  That’s a Tin Dog Tag?

        Whether Marine, Air Force, Coast Guard

        Navy, or Our National Guard,

        Or Service in Merchant Marine,

        Some Still Teens When They Make the Scene!

        Are Veterans Superheroes?

        I Know They Are!   I Don’t Suppose!

        Our Bravest Few Answer the Call!

        This Grateful Land Salutes You All!

              Thank a Veteran Today!
