          Mom Wondered, At What Comfort Rate

          Would This New Pound~Hound Acclimate?

          We’ve Known Dogs Who’s Disposition

          Spoke of a Certain Conviction

          To Keep the Household Calm, Serene!

          Note to Calm Dogs … Daphne’s Your Queen!

          She’s Slept in Her Bed!   Slept in Ours!

          Mom Says She’s Great Sleeping in Cars!

          She’s Slept Half~On, Half~Off the Couch

          Ran In Her Sleep and Fell Off!   Ouch!

          So Yah, She’s Sure Acclimated!

          Glad Mom Never Hesitated!

          Adding Sweet Daphne to Our Home!

            Sacred to Navajo Spirits!

            In Order for Us to Proceed,

            A Native Guide is Who We Need!

            We Won’t Soon Forget What We’ve Seen!

            Travel Expands the Mind!   I Mean

            When Prejudice, Ignorance Dies,

            We See This World Through Clearer Eyes!
