                   Cruising Up~Town Behind the Wheel

                   True I Fear Parallel Parking! 

                   Wondered If That Would Be Blocking 

                   My Life~Long Quest for My License! 

                   But No!  I Passed!  Relief’s Immense! 

 

                   I’ve Put Away My Childish Ways! 

                   Take Serious My Driving Days! 

                   I Have Responsibilities! 

                   Lives Count on My Abilities!

      Our Marching Band Won Best In State 

      Each Competition We Shown Great! 

      That Was Back In Twenty~Nineteen! 

      Then We Watched Covid Intervene! 

 

      Our Sophomore, Junior, Senior Year 

      This Marching Band Has Had No Peer! 

      We All Gathered At Renaissance  

      Park ‘Fore U. C.’s Homecoming Dance! 

 

      I Love My Bandmates, Every One! 

      We Drill Hard and We Sure Have Fun! 

      But I Can’t Think of One Event 

      When My Sister Was Not Present! 

 

      She’s Not That Little Kid We Knew! 

      Don’t Tell Me You Don’t See It Too! 

      She Treats Her Friends Like Young Adults! 

      She Studies Smart and Gets Results! 

 

      For Me It’s More Than Vague Feelings 

      That Bella Will Smash Glass Ceilings! 

      This Smart, Unselfish, Great Bestie
