                     There’s No Off-Switch to Her Motor!

                     When My Sister Gets Excited

                     You Can’t Keep Your Houseboat Righted!

                           

                     
                     She’ll Rush Starboard!  Then Run to Port!

                     She’s Not the Quiet, Sit-Still Sort!

                     The Bruises on Her Knees Attest

                     She’ll Run and Run and Never Rest!

                     The House Boat Didn’t Chug My Way!

                     That Ship Has Sailed, But Not With Me!

                     I’m Left to Ponder Life at Sea!

                           

                     It’s Sad to Think What Might Have Been!

                     My Sister’s Safe!  And She’s With Me!

         Tonight the Roof Will All Be Gone!

         Will There Be Birds Before the Dawn?

                            

         
         Workers Say the Tarp Will Cover

         Where Those Birds Constantly Hover!

         And They’ll Keep Out Each Snake and Bear!

         They’ll Treat Our Home With Extra Care!

         This Girl’s in San Diego Bay!

         We’re Movin’ to a Big House Boat!

         I Sure Hope That House Boat Can Float!

 

         I Know Sometimes That It Must Seem

         Like My Life Comes Out of a Dream!

         And Honest!   I Don’t Mean to Gloat!

         But I’ll Be Living On a Boat!!!

                            

         Isabelle, Mommy and Me and

         Bonez Will Wake Up on the Sea and

         Soft Waves Will Lap Our Boat at Night!

         My Bonez Will Lick Us With Delight!

                           

 

         I’d Have Been Happy in a Tent!

         Not Much Head Room!  Yet Not Much Rent!                             But Now My Bedroom’s By the Sea!

                   For Active Kids, Things Weren’t So Great!

                   They Had the Wheel and They Had Spears!

                   But Not Much Else, So It Appears!

          And We All Know Our ABCs!

          When To Say “Thank You” and When “Please!”

              In the Stands, B’ball Fanatics

              Thought the Game Was Quite Dramatic!

              But When My Girls Stepped Up to Cheer

              The Ooohs and Aaahs Announced, "We're Here!"

              How Could a Game Ever Compete

              With Flying Pom Poms, High Kicked Feet?

              We Jumped and Yelled and Made Our Splits!
