                   They Had the Wheel and They Had Spears!

                   But Not Much Else, So It Appears!

                   And He Says It Was All the Rage

                   To Play Hockey in the Ice Age!

                   I Have a Play Date This Sunday!

                   I’ll Chill With My Main Girl, Josie

                   And Her Younger Sister, Rosie!

 

                   I Sure Do Love the Art We Make

                   When We Decorate Each Cup Cake!

                   Josie and Me, We Never Fight!

                   I Think Her Family’s Out’a Sight!
                            

                   My Grampa’s Art Was on Cave Walls!

                   He Couldn’t Eat His Cave Wall Scrawls!

                   His Kitty Had a Saber’s Tooth!

          Tuesday Was My First Day of School!

          All Week We Learned and We Had Fun!

          Sure Glad We Got Mrs. Wilson!

 

          We Know Our Numbers, She Found Out!

          We Were So Good She Didn’t Shout!

          And We All Know Our ABCs!

          When To Say “Thank You” and When “Please!”

                           

          Hey, Hey My Name is Audrey Mae!

          An Educated Girl, I’d Say!

          We Learned That Girls Behave the Best!

          Boys Are Sweatballs After Recess!
                        

          What!   Tell Me That It Isn’t So!

          Mom Says There’s More I Have To Know!

          Those First Four Days Were Just a Peek!

          There’s More I Have to Learn Next Week!
                            

 

          Now Wait a Minute!   Not So Fast!

          How Long Does This Learning Stuff Last?

            Still Our Mother's Not in Bed Yet!

            Tip Toe Down, Soft as I'm Able!

            I Step Closer, To Mom's Surprise!

            Only Moms Can Smile With Their Eyes!

            I See Right Off, She's Paying Bills!

            Of Pink Piggy Banks!   One's Stuff'd Tight!

              By 6 AM We’ll Hit the Mall!

              You Just Can’t Hurry Shopping, Friend!

              This Girl Must Sample Every Trend!

              I Shop the Tried and True Old Way!

              If They Have Something In My Size

              I’ll Try It On!   That’s No Surprise!

              Pants and Skirts!   Dresses and Sneakers!

              My Ensemble Needs Some Tweakers!

              “Twinkle Toes” Leave Stockings Rocking!

              Good Thing My Mom Works Really Hard!

              Today We’ll Smoke Her Credit Card!

              Me and My Girls, We Ruled This Year!

              We Thought We’d Make Camp Our Career!

              At Camp We Sing, We Swim, We Play!

              No Cuter Girls Ever Cheer Led!

              In the Stands, B’ball Fanatics

              Thought the Game Was Quite Dramatic!

              But When My Girls Stepped Up to Cheer

              The Ooohs and Aaahs Announced, "We're Here!"

              How Could a Game Ever Compete

              With Flying Pom Poms, High Kicked Feet?

              We Jumped and Yelled and Made Our Splits!

                All Took a Beating, So to Speak!

                             

                Next Time When I Climb Way Up High

                I Think My Feet is What I’ll Try

                To Land Upon When I Must Go!

                It’s Better Than My Face, You Know!

            Way Down Under, I Haven't Spent

            A Single Day That Far Away!

            But Boy, Would I Love to Some Day!

            I Dream About Lands Far Away!

            What It Would Be Like to Wander

            To Strange Places Makes Me Ponder!

                              

 

            First Thing I'd Do Is Make New Friends!

            Prob'ly a Hundred By Day's End!

            Australians Make Such Lovely Hosts!

            We Speak the Same Language ... Almost!

            Next, I'd Head to the Philippines!

            Now There's a Place With Gorgeous Scenes!

            Mom Says the More Places I Go

            Helps My Geography Smarts Grow!

            I've Found Australia on the Map!

            The Philippines, That Was a Snap!

            I’ll Show You Ireland and Peru

            Or Anywhere That Intrigues You!

                             

 

            I Think Alex Trebek Should Know

            That on the Kid Tournament Show

            If Final is Geography,

            I’m Taking Home That Kid’s Trophy!
